We are excited that you want an artist for your party! Samantha began her Party Artist journey with Kaman's Art Shoppes at the San Diego Zoo and now, along with her team of many artists, create dozens of Face Painting designs, sharing color and bringing smiles to parties and events every weekend to many children and adults at parties and events!

For a basic package of any one (1) service, we charge $150 for the first hour and $65 for every 30 minutes to follow. (Please see pricing below for multiple services). Due to the extra sanitary measures we now take, please allow 1 hour per 12-15 kids, 10-13 kids/guests if booking Henna Tattoos for your services. (Henna Tattoos are not recommended for children under the age of 7, since they may forget about it and it may smudge, ruining the design and/or staining any clothes that it may come in contact with.) Please add at least 30 minutes to your overall service time for each additional service. One artist will be provided (unless requested otherwise in which additional charges will apply) and will provide each service simultaneously throughout the time allotted, depending on the guest’s preference.

Basic Package:
(1) One service of your Choice (eg. Face painting, Henna Tattoos, Balloon Twisting, Glitter Tattoos, or Chunky Glitter Bar)

Must book 1 hour minimum. (Approx. 10-15 kids/hr depending on the designs.)

1 hr - $150 
1.5 hrs - $215 
2 hrs - $280

Double Package:
(2) Two Services of your Choice (eg. Face painting & Balloon Balloon Twisting, or Henna Tattoos & Glitter Tattoos)

Must book 1.5 hours minimum. (Approx. 8-10 kids/hr depending on the designs.)

Party Package:
(3) Three Services of your Choice

Must book 1.5 hours minimum. (Approx. 8-10 kids/hr depending on the designs. Guests will be limited to 1-2 services until everyone has been serviced.)

3 hrs - $640

Note: If booking some services for the kids and other services for the adults, it is best to break up the time and serve all of the kids first and then switch to the adult services. The other services can still be available for thie kids, but servicing the younger guests first will ensure happy guests all around!

(4) Any Four Services

(Booking 4 services includes a $30 discount when booking over 2 hours. View other Discount details below!)

Must book 2 hours minimum. (Approx. 8-10 kids/hr depending on the designs. Guests will be limited to 2 services until everyone has been serviced.)

2 hrs - $470
2.5 hrs - $580 ($550 w/discount!)
3 hrs - $690 ($660 w/discount!)
3.5 hrs - $800 ($770 w/discount!)

General Info

The typical length for our services is based on the number of guests wanting the service. All services include all supplies, table and high chair, or normal chairs (according to services requested). 40+ Face Paint designs to choose from! (Standard glitter available upon request by the guest. If you want to add Chunky Glitter and/or a “Bling Bar,” an extra charge will be applied.) For Henna Tattoos, we will include menu, some have 50+ designs and will depend on the artist and type of event. We are always available for customs unless requested not to. For Balloon Twisting and Glitter Tattoos, we provide a variety of themes and characters for the guests to choose from.

booking on holidays*

Due to high the volume requests for Holiday Events, please note that pricing on these days increase by 30%. This includes (But is not limited to): New Year's Eve/Day, Valentine’s Day, St Patrick’s Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day & WEEKEND (Sat-Mon), Halloween Eve/Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day

THEMES & COSTUMES

We like dress for the occasion in a simple or slightly themed dress, if available! (If you have a dress code for your event, let us know in your booking form Notes.) If you would like to add a costume to specifically fit your theme, just ask and we'll see what we have in our magical wardrobe! (The cost will depend on the costume requested, usually $25 if we own it already.) Our Unicorn Princess and Minnie Mouse are the current favorites!

Travel

SAN DIEGO: If the event location is outside a 15-mile radius of zip code 92115 (according to Google Maps), $10+ may be applied as a distance accomodation fee. If more than 35 miles (Valley Center, Vista, Carlsbad, and anything further North, etc) an additional fee will be added.
MERCED: Please inquire for more information.

Payment Details

Aside from a Non-Refundable Retainer/Reservation Fee required upon booking in order to hold your reservation (which will count towards your full balance), we require being paid in cash only within the last hour of our services or upon arrival (also, make note that we typically do not carry cash or change on us. So, please have an exact amount that you are giving including tip if applicable). 9 times out of 10, we will have another party to attend directly after yours. As a courtesy, please have your balance ready or paid by the end of our time so that we can leave promptly if necessary. We would not want to have to interrupt cake cutting, piñata, or anything else that may be in progress in order to get paid and, therefore, will not be able to leave at the designated time. Venmo is also an accepted form of balance payment, but let us know ahead of time that you would like to pay this way so we can give you the artist’s payment info prior to the event.

Personal Checks are not preferred, but will ONLY be accepted if the requested cash funds available or agreed upon ahead of time is unavailable (specifically for large companies, etc.). NOTE: If the check bounces from NSF (Insufficient Funds), the bank fee of $35 with the total cost plus a 5% card fee will be invoiced to you. If neither Cash nor check are available when payment is due (which may lead for me to be late to another client's party), a 5% card fee with a 3% convenience fee will be added to your remaining balance payment for a card transaction. Any other form of payment must be agreed upon beforehand and will not be accepted otherwise. 5% will be added to your invoice for every 24 hours unpaid as a form of late fee. BY PAYING THE NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER FEE YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

Additional Artists

Professional Artist(s): We have many artists throughout San Diego that we love working with, all of which do many of the services that we provide as well as other services like Caricatures, Magic, Clowning, Princesses, Games, and the like. If you are wanting a second artist to accompany you to the event, please note that pricing per artist will be the same for each additional artist added, including an additional Distance fee (if applicable) depending on the second artist's location.

Professional Photographer/Videographer: I have a Photographer who I love using for birthday parties and events and, if available, can provide photography and/or videography for your event at a reasonable price. To see further details and pricing click here.

Let me know if you would like to add an additional artist to your package and I will check their availability! Please specify in your booking form what kind of artist you would like (whether professional or apprentice).

Discounts

Booking 4 Services: $20 Discount will be applied for booking all 4 services! (Must book 2.5 hours or longer to apply.)
Booking 4 or more Hours: $20 Discount will be applied for booking 4 or more hours. (Applies to any Party Package!)
Charity Discount: Discounts for Charities, Fundraisers, and Churches are on a case by case basis. Please inquire for more information.
Active Military Discount: If booking more than 1.5 hours, a $15-$25 discount will be given depending on the number of service(s) and/or hour(s) booking. Thank you for your service! (Must show proof of valid ID)

Note: (Only one (1) discount will be applied at any given time. The largest amount will automatically be applied.)
